Another new mini project has been born. A few weeks earlier I had photographed reflections in a pool at Roddlesworth Woods, which in turn reminded me of the image of this pool that I had taken a couple of years earlier. Here the ice adds a third element to the reflections and the glimpse of what lies beneath the surface.

Reserved Landscapes
I am now much more open to a wider variety of landscapes than I used to be and get as much pleasure photographing the quieter corners of the countryside as the big, dramatic vistas. I am currently engaged in a long term project with Lancashire Wildlife Trust to photograph the landscapes of their reserves. I enjoy the challenge of seeking out compositions to reflect these places and their quieter nature. This gallery will showcase my work for the Trust together with other photos of nature reserves in the North West.
