Stile near Egerton, West Pennine Moors
I must have walked over this stile nearly 100 times as it lies on my regular local walk. Never before had I felt any compunction to make a photograph here but on this day I was stopped in my tracks. The covering of snow had really brought the scene to life by adding light to a normally dark corner. The wall running off into the distance now had prominance and the fantastic orange cloud added drama.
