After the Fire
In April the West Pennine Moors suffered from a spate of fires. The hill behind my house, Cheetham Close, did not escape, with one side of the hill on fire. I went up a few days later to inspect the damage and found this intriguing patch of untouched grass surrounded by blackened remains.
