Reserved Landscapes
I am now much more open to a wider variety of landscapes than I used to be and get as much pleasure photographing the quieter corners of the countryside as the big, dramatic vistas. I am currently engaged in a long term project with Lancashire Wildlife Trust to photograph the landscapes of their reserves. I enjoy the challenge of seeking out compositions to reflect these places and their quieter nature. This gallery will showcase my work for the Trust together with other photos of nature reserves in the North West.
Another Lancashire Wildlife Trust reserve. I thought it rather ironic that part of the value of mosses like these is their carbon storing capacity, and here were electricity pylons marching boldly across.
