Three birches and ferns
The birch trees in Norway are striking, especially when contrasting with the luminescent green of the ferns. Finding a pleasing composition though can be very frustrating and frequently photography involves compromise, as we have no control over the environment we wish to photograph. Here I decided that the strength of the 3 birch trees coupled with the clump of ferns outweighed the distraction of the darker tree to the left
